The list
Active Order Limits shows the rules you have built, with the status of each. Empty stores see No Active Limits and a prompt to add one.
Open any rule to edit it. Changes take effect as soon as you save with the status enabled.
Pause rather than delete
Switching a rule’s status off stops it enforcing while keeping it in the list. Reach for it when you are:
- Testing whether a rule is behind odd checkout behaviour
- Running a limit for a campaign that will come round again
- Freeing a slot against Shopify’s 25-validation ceiling
Deleting
Permanent. Export the rule first if there is any chance you will want it back — see import and export.
Naming matters more than you expect
The rule title is the only thing shown in the list. Wholesale — min 12 per order tells you what it does a year later; Rule 1 means opening it to find out.
Include the campaign for temporary rules — Drop 07 — max 2 — so it is obvious which are safe to disable after the fact.
