Open a rule and use Export to download it, or Import to bring one in. Useful for moving a tested rule from a dev store to live, and for backing up before you change something.

What travels, and what may not

The rule’s limits, values and settings come across. What cannot reliably travel is anything that points at store-specific data — a rule naming particular products or collections depends on those existing on the destination store under the same references.

After importing, open the rule and confirm the products and collections it names are the ones you expect before enabling it. A limit that silently lost its product list is broader than you think.

Verify it worked

Import the rule and open it. Every limit and value is as expected.
Any product or collection references resolve to real items on this store.
Save with the status enabled, then test a cart that should be blocked.

Can I export everything at once?

No — export works one rule at a time.

Will a rule referencing my products import cleanly elsewhere?

Not always. Rules that name specific products or collections depend on those existing on the destination store. Check the rule after importing rather than assuming it came across whole.

Is importing safe on a live store?

The rule arrives for you to review. Save it with the status off first if you want to check it before it enforces.
